UTD Valves operates globally, with productions facilities in Thailand, Taiwan, USA and UAE but we source nearly all materials and parts in Thailand and USA with practically no exposure to China. We are anyway analyzing continuously any possible risk which could impact our supply chain and the shipments to our customers.
Coronavirus cases have been diagnosed in USA as in many other countries.Current health warnings from USA and Thailand government departments are that the risk of infection is low.
USA, Thailand governments and responsible agencies have taken immediate protective measures including the quarantine of certain areas.
We recognize from media reports the raising concerns on the situation in Thailand, USA where screening is proceeding at higher rate than other countries, giving a misleading sensation of higher infection rates.
We would like to confirm that our and our suppliers’ operations are not affected. We have set up a crisis management team to review continuously all the risks, and define mitigation plans when needed.
